Personal information provided as part of a representation on a planning consultation cannot be treated as confidential, as the Council is required to make representations
available for public inspection. However in compliance with the Data Protection Act, the personal information you provide will only be used by the Council for the purposes of
preparing the Council’s Local Plan and supporting documents. We will not pass on any personal information that you have given us to third parties for commercial use.
If sharing information among officers and other agencies will help to improve the service you receive, then we may share information where the legal framework allows it.

- Advertising or promotional postings will not be accepted, no political statements, campaigning or electioneering will be permitted.
The council reserves the right to block users who are in breach of these conditions or otherwise post inappropriate material without notice and at its absolute discretion.
The council does not endorse any private company or individual even when the council is “friends” with or “follows” a profile or account on social media sites.
Online Consultations
All comments will be moderated before they are shown on the consultation site.
Knowsley Council reserves the right to not show and comments or to delete comments from its consultation sites without prior warning.
